SWEET SPOT League

Rules and Terms & Conditions

  • Golfers must register online through SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf website before the League commences and meet all stated eligibility requirements. Entry is only confirmed once registration and payment have been completed.

  • 6 weeks, 6 courses, 12 holes per week, 2-man Ambrose, 10’ gimme with the course settings determined by SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf.

  • A current Golf NZ Handicap Index is required to participate. The handicap used for League scoring must be the handicap recorded/verified through the League system at the time of play.

  • R&A Rules of Golf apply, together with any specific SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf Local Rules (10-foot gimmes and no mulligans)

  • All players must play using the standard League settings established by SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf. Players may not alter handicap, wind, tees, weather, putting or other competition settings.

  • Golfers must submit their official score through Golf Genius at the completion of each round to remain eligible for League prizes. All scores are subject to verification by SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf.

  • If a shot does not register correctly due to a simulator malfunction, system error or technical issue, the shot may be replayed without penalty, subject to SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf staff verification.

  • Players must commence their League round at their allocated time and complete the 12 holes within the designated playing period. Players arriving late may have their available playing time reduced, and failure to complete the round within the allocated time may result in the round being recorded as incomplete.

  • The winner will be determined based on the player’s best 5 scores out of 6 rounds. In the event of a tie, a sudden-death playoff will be used to determine the winner. SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf reserves the right to determine the application of the tie-break procedure, and its decision will be final.

  • Prizes will be awarded to eligible participants based on the published League results. To be eligible for a prize, golfers must have complied with all League Terms & Conditions and submitted their official score through Golf Genius. SWEET SPOT Indoor Golf reserves the right to verify scores, investigate any suspected breach of the rules and make the final determination regarding League results and prize eligibility.
